David Wilson (born 1956) is an English martial arts Instructor.
Career[edit]
He began martial arts training 1984 in Tang Soo Do (Korean karate) and was graded to 1st Dan in 1989.
In 1999 he joined Ishinryu Karate under the guidance of Simon Kidd and he was graded to 2nd and 3rd Dan and 2012 was graded to 4th Dan.
Wilson had a successful competition career in Tang Soo Do culminating in a Silver Medal at the World Tang Soo Do Championships in 1991.
Latterly Wilson has achieved a Silver Medal in the 2008[1] European Masters Games Kumite, repeating this in 2011.[2][3]
In 2012 Wilson independently became a member of the English Karate Federation through The Martial Arts Centre.[4]
In 2012 Wilson entered and won the Italian Open Karate Kumite Masters section and 2013 Bronze medal (3rd place) at The World Masters Games in Italy.
