Davide Lo Surdo (born July 24, 1999) is an Italian guitarist. Rolling Stone Brasil described him as the fastest guitarist in history.[1]
Career
In November 2021, he performed at the tenth edition of the "Rolling Stone Music & Run" event at the Sambódromo do Anhembi, in São Paulo, Brazil.[2]
On May 12, 2024, Lo Surdo performed with the National Symphony Orchestra at the National Theatre of Cuba.[3][4]
A guitar he used in his 2024 tour in Cuba is in the National Music Museum in Havana.[5]
In 2024, Lo Surdo was honored with a bronze statue in Denmark.[6]
Lo Surdo appears in the music history book Rock Memories 2, written by Maurizio Baiata.[7]
His signature guitar, the “DLS1” model, is in the Sigal Music Museum’s exhibition A Measure of Music: S.T.E.A.M. and the Musical Mind, which runs from August 2024 to May 2025.[8]
