From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Roy Dawson Inman (born October 26, 1995), better known by his stage name Daw$on, is an American hip hop recording artist. Born in Memphis[1], he grew up from humble beginnings. Best known for his hit "Die 4 You," released in late 2018, Roy is the heir to the throne of infamous gangster rapper DeAndre Cortez Way, a.k.a. "Young Drako" or more commonly known as "Soulja Boy."[2] Refusing to attend a public high school, Daw$on educated himself through internet videos and practicing martial arts vigorously for hours. By the age of 15, the former used car salesman had already accumulated a massive social media following, with well over ten-thousand followers. His musical background quite literally spans across lengths greater than the distance of the Mediterranean Sea, just at 970,000 sq. miles. First appearing a drummer for a "Screamo"[3] band based out of Memphis, TN, named "Time After Death." His short run with the group ended when he realized his true calling. This is when he, and his three brother, joined mystical forces to form the "Inman Brothers Band." This "Electric Pop-Country" collaboration swept through the City, regularly performing at various venues. The highlight of the groups career was centered around their debut performance, opening for the platinum recording duo "Florida Georgia Line."[4] But yet again, in epiphany moment, Roy then decided his true potential to make real music. Under the alias "Daw$on," Roy now lives in a gated kingdom on the outskirts of Memphis, TN, where he continues to make potential chart topping hits with his best of friends and faithful dog companion Hendrix Andretti-Philippe Inman.
