Career[edit]
Ronald Dayan Shanmugaratnam was born in Paris, France on 16 May 1987. He started his esteemed career in early 2010 with memes, later progressing into doing skits and vines. His skits eventually led to the formation of his own brand 'TamiLoL'. After widespread recognition for his acting, Dayan was asked to star in a few YouTube music videos for various small production companies. These cameos later led to him directing, and being the main lyricist for several videos and for several high budget production companies. He was interviewed by Special Broadcasting Service in 2014 in Australia[5] [[ In 2015 upon noticing his growth in the diaspora scene he was interviewed by Ashanti Omkar for BBC Asian Network.[6] His lyrical and directorial talent has led to him working alongside notable names such as Inno Genga and Airtel Super Singer finalist Diwakar.[7][8]. Dayan currently is a content creator on Youtube and also a mentor to many Tamil Diaspora Artists with his wide arsenal of skills. Despite having completed many projects, Dayan Shan still remains an interesting and marketable prospect in the industry.
