DeFiner is an American digital lending services company based in Minneapolis.[1][2] DeFiner is known for launching a decentralized finance network for digital savings, loans, and payments.[3][4] DeFiner was the recipient of the Detroit FinTech Challenge - 2019.[5][6]
Formation and services
DeFiner was founded by entrepreneurs Jason Wu and Chyna Qu in February 2018.[7][8][9] In Q2 2018, the company introduced its digital lending platform with a white paper release.[10] In June 2019, DeFiner launched its decentralized lending platform, which features digital savings, loans, and payments.[11] According to PaymentWeek, "DeFiner is a peer-to-peer lending platform that allows individuals to make loans to other individuals, backed by a system of blockchain and smart contracts".[12]
As of October 2020, the company has raised a total of $470,000 in funding rounds from 6 investors.[13][14]
In November 2020, the company launched a decentralized crypto savings platform called Taurus, which offers up to 30% interest.[15][16]
