De Troch is a Belgian brewery in Wambeek, a municipality of Ternat, that produces Geuze and Kriek using traditional methods which are based on spontaneous fermentation. They produce 14 types of beer with a volume of 824 liters per day. [1] [2]
History
The De Troch brewery dates back to approximately 1795, when Joannes Franciscus De Troch (1766-1808) and his wife purchased an extensive farm with a number of outbuildings [3]. Since 2002 they have been operated by the 7th generation of the founding family’s ownership under Pauwel Raes and his wife Kristel Schelfthout.[3]

They are open to the public Wednesday till Friday: from 8.30 - 12 am & 13 - 16.30 pm and Saturday: 10 - 12 am [4] De Troch is a member of HORAL, the High Council for Artisanal Lambic Beers. [5]
