Dead Summer
Dead Summer is an upcoming 2014 horror film directed by Jenny Donny and written by Alexia Dofish. It stars Lauren Cooper, Ben Johnson, Kate Amyston, Stone Drucker, Josh Pecker, PP James, Emily Scooper and Jake Maroo.
Plot[edit]
A group of college students, Peter (Ben Johnson) and his girlfriend Emma (Lauren Cooper), Emily (Kate Amyston) and her boyfriend Decker (Stone Drucker) and their friends AJ (Emily Scooper), Jack (Jake Maroo), Don (Josh Pecker) and Pet (PP James), is going to spend the summer vacation at a cabin in the woods by a lake for two weeks but as a serial killer (Paul Larler) starts to kill them one by one with an axe and locks a gate so they can't get out alive. At least a boat could save them from the other side.

Production/Fliming[edit]
Production began on January 23, 2014 and ended on March 26, 2014. The cast was set in late November 2013. The movie was written during December 2013 and filming began in early January 2014 and ended on April 21, 2014. The film will be released on July 18, 2014 on DVD and Blu-ray DVD.
