Deals North Bay
Deals North Bay, also called simply "Deals", is a Canadian discount grocery store chain located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada[1]. The company was founded by former film producer and pastor Byron Jones[2] and his wife, Lola Jones, in August of 2019. The main founder, Byron Jones, is also known for founding and working with other businesses including; Cloud Ten,[3] Garden City Pictures, Willowcreek Marketing And Distribution, Pure Flix Entertainment[4], and CMD Distribution[5].
The grocery store chain is known for helping low-income families and donating all of its profits to schools, churches and orphanages in Haiti[6]. After the success of the first Deals North Bay store near Lake Nipissing, the store quickly moved to 3 more locations during the COVID-19 pandemic. One location in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada, and two others in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.[7] Unfortunately, the store located in Sturgeon Falls was closed after only a few months in business. Deals North Bay has also gained a small following on Facebook.[8]
