Death of Carlito Vale
Comment: I would also argue for the uniqueness of the case, not only did one stowaway die but there was another stowaway who survived a fall of 430 metres. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 12:08, 7 September 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Furthermore, if you look at the sources, you will find that the case has WP:SUSTAINED coverage with sources from 2016 and 2021. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 18:52, 6 September 2026 (UTC)
Comment: @A.Classical-Futurist: This doesn't warrant being rejected. The case is important with regards to Immigration to the United Kingdom and is even the subject of a documentary. GoldenBootWizard276 (talk) 18:49, 6 September 2026 (UTC)

Carlito Vale (born c. 1985) was a Mozambican wheel-well stowaway who died after falling 1400ft (427m) from a plane preparing to land at Heathrow Airport. The British Airways flight had taken off in Johannesburg, South Africa for an 11-hour flight. The body was found an hour later decapitated[1] on the roof of an office block used by the online shopping company Notonthehighstreet.com.[2][3] and identified six months later.[4][5]
Vale was a stowaway on the flight alongside Themba Cabeka, who survived a 430-metre fall on the ground of Heathrow Airport. The death became the subject of a 2021 Channel 4 documentary The Man Who Fell from The Sky.[6][7][8][9]
