Decorative Crafts or DC, is a furniture store started in 1928 by Milton Cohn in New York City. Decorative Crafts originally sold Italian ceramics and leather goods to other businesses in the city.
By 1952 Richard Cohn became president of the company and expanded not only which countries DC sourced from, but also expanded the company’s footprint by selling nationwide. Spain, England, and Korea all became part of the
By 1977 Jeff Cohn took over and focused on higher end Italian furniture and lighting fixtures.
In 2014 Matt Cohn relaunched the company as an ecommerce store (https://decorativecrafts.com/) continuing the tradition. Today Decorative Crafts sells its products internationally to interior designers around the world.[1]
