DeepCloud AI builds cloud infrastructure to which any household can add their idle laptop or PC and compute for local companies and get paid for it. Their first launched product, DeepTransfer,.,[1] is a free version of file sharing service running on company’s hybrid cloud. The technical team is based in Silicon Valley whereas the sales and marketing is based in Singapore and the Netherlands.

History[edit]

Early development and launch[edit]

DeepCloud AI [2] was incorporated in June 2018.

In October 2018, Finances Online[3] has awarded company’s product DeepTransfer with the 2018 Rising Star Award. DeepTransfer reached user satisfaction score of 100% and a total score of 8/10.[4]

DeepCloud AI was also listed on Dun & Bradstreet’s Global Directory[5] [6], allowing it to join a long list of some of the world’s leading enterprises. Some of the companies that are partners with Dun & Bradstreet directory include Apple, Oracle and Microsoft.

Leadership[edit]

The company was founded by Max Rye, who has over 15 years of experience in the cloud computing industry serving enterprises [7].

The team[edit]

The DeepCloud AI core team currently consists of 8 people;

Max Rye - Chief Executive Officer [8],

Geeta Chauhan - Chief Technology Officer [9],

Miroslav Sala – Chief Product Officer [10],

Joseph Vargas – Principal AI/Cloud Architect [11]

Felix Castro Rodriguez – Head of Development Team in South America [12],

Maged Eljazzar – Head of AI/ML Engineering [13],

Products and Services[edit]

DeepTransfer[edit]

DeepTransfer[1] is a free online file sharing service that allows people share unlimited number of files up to 3GB big via a secure, private link, that users can share with their contacts. The link automatically expires after 14 days, ensuring all content shared doesn’t stay online forever. Once the files are uploaded into the DeepTransfer system, it generates a link that users can give to people who they want to access the files.

DeepTransfer is free and a premium version is still under development, promising advanced features such as enterprise-level encryption, blockchain-based security, audit trail, and file sharing up to 30GB in size.[1]

Huron[edit]

Huron [16] is a decentralized cloud infrastructure that anyone can access. It is made up of combined power of consumers’ machines, from PCs to entire data centers. Instead of being provided by centralized data center or server, the accumulated resource is delivered from individual computing devices.

Resource providers can rent out their idle PC (or portion of it) and earn money in exchange. Resource can range from PCs to enterprise computers to data centers. These resources act as a host nodes and are able to host containerized web applications.

Those who need resources to run their web applications, can rent computer powers from resource pool across the globe at competitive prices. Huron [17] is capable of hosting websites, running blockchain based dApps, decentralized IoT applications, training AI/Deep learning models and running AI calculations at the edge.

DeepTransfer Blog[edit]

The DeepCloud AI team also writes blog. [18] The content of the blog consists mainly of travelling articles, but the team does occasionally post articles about cloud computing, file sharing as well as tips and tricks for freelancers and digital nomads.
