Deep Spiritual Cleansing
Deep Spiritual Cleansing (DSC) is the dynamic process where the human spirit voluntarily yields to its Divine Creator.[1] DSC results in deep individual contentment, inner peace, and accompanying communal altruistic behaviours. It is a concept found under various names in religions such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism.[2][3][4][5] DSC begins when the individual realises that their ego or self is not sufficient to meet personal objectives for their life.[6] DSC usually follows a crisis of some sort, which may include emotional suffering, financial catastrophe, medical injury, or marital conflict.[7][8]
