Dr. Deepak Mittal (born 23 March 1960) is an industrialist, philanthropist, and the Managing Director of Sonalika Group[1].

Early life and education

He was born on 23 March 1960 in Faridkot district of Jalandhar, Punjab, and is the son of Lakshman Das Mittal[2] and Raj Rani Mittal. He has four siblings – Usha Sangwan, Amrit Sagar, Dr. Khush Mittal, and Dr. Praveen Garg. He has completed his Ph.D. in Philosophy from SRI SRI University in Orissa, India.

Career

He is the Managing Director of Sonalika group. He started his career in 1980 with farm equipment to develop the agriculture industry in India. His chairmanship helped expand the export business of Sonalika to over 120+ countries[3][4]. Sonalika Group has the world’s largest integrated tractor manufacturing plant in Hoshiarpur[5][6], Punjab.
