Deesie Hubbard[edit]

Deesie Hubbard (1919 - c. 1957) was an American trumpet player, bandleader, and composer. Although but one recording of Deesie Hubbard is rumored to exist, he still remains one of the most celebrated and revered musicians in jazz circles.

An urban legend amongst jazz historians, very little is known of Deesie Hubbard.
