Deez News
Deez News is a humorous satirical publication formed by two high-school student journalists in Atlanta, Georgia.[1] The co-founders, deemed "Large Dawg" and "Big Drib," (and additionally, Daniel Krappernutz, among others. See also: Dan K.) officially started the satire in 2024. The publication often covers scandalous, local and controversial topics, and possesses a satirical lens often implicated as dark humor.[2] This contributes to the use of pseudonyms, as the humor covers potential sensitivities that may not reflect the writers' images.[3] The domain deeznews.us was reserved in October 2024, and Deez News has remained primarily digital-focused since. However, efforts for a print issue are a work in progress and it may feature exclusive content not found on the website.[4]
