Defamed is a deathcore band from Italy formed in 2019, shortly after Mattia Maffioli, Simone Verde and Max Foti were kicked out from Drown in Sulphur.[1]
The band released the first single Circles on March 2020 and the second one Gasolina on April 2020. After that, they published the singles In Tenebris, Doves, and Aeon. Their debut EP Aeon was released on December 2020, including all the singles but Gasolina.[2]
In 2021, they released the instrumental version of Aeon and the single The Dancer, followed by Crystal Prison and The Servant in 2022 and Divinities in 2023, all later included in their new EP Blackblood.[3]
The instrumental version of Blackblood was released in 2024 and a new single, Silhouette, came out in 2025.
They played in many different metal festivals across Europe, such as Fajtfest, Dissonance, and WeAreDeathcore.[4][5]
