Angelo De Feo (born 22 July 1991), better known as DEFEO, is a Swiss DJ and record producer based in Biel/Bienne. He gained recognition for releasing on S2 Records, Kryteria Records, and Generation HEX. But also for being supported several times by Kryder[2], Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Don Diablo, Hardwell, Benny Benassi and more.
Biography
DEFEO started DJing in 2009, playing in local bars and clubs in Switzerland. He was spotted in 2010 by his current General Manager, Marc Heymoz. In 2012, he joined Aprod Agency (CH) for two years, where he had the opportunity to play in the biggest festival in Switzerland and twice in Miami during the Winter Music Conference[3].
At the end of 2014, DEFEO and his general manager decided to end their partnership, and Angelo became a free agent DJ. In 2015, Marc Heymoz created a new agency and concept, called AFFINITY, and asked DEFEO to join his new team.
Angelo has a residency in several clubs in Switzerland, like the MAD Club, which was ranked several times by DJ Mag in their annual list of Top 100 Clubs. In addition, he has been performing in different countries in Europe like France, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Macedonia.
Besides his DJ tour, he produced and released on well-known labels like Kryteria Records (Spinnin' Records) and Sosumi Records, both run by Kryder. But also on Generation HEX (a label run by Don Diablo), Sirup Music (a label run by EDX) and Juicy Traxx (a label run by Robbie Rivera).
