Then, Del Amo Boulevard pauses for a short amount of time after intersecting Western Avenue in Harbor Gateway. Then, it begins again at Normandie Avenue, and crosses into West Carson. Shortly after, it goes under Interstate 110 (I-110) and Interstate 405 (I-405). Del Amo Boulevard goes through Carson and, in addition, it is also the southernmost border of Compton. It then goes under the Long Beach Freeway (Interstate 710) and enters the city of Long Beach. It then intersects Lakewood Boulevard (State Route 19) on the Long Beach–Lakewood border and intersects I-605 in the city of Lakewood. Then it enters Cerritos and crosses over Coyote Creek. Then, Del Amo Boulevard becomes La Palma Avenue and continues east.
