Erik Matthew Perez, better known by his stage name Delirium, is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. In 2017 he founded his own record label, Youre Delirious. On February 22, 2019, Delirium announced via Instagram he has his first major album dropping may 17 . So far Delirium has written 1 album all relating to his past struggles. The album includes "love burns", drops may 17.

Early life

Erik Matthew Perez was born in Long Beach, California. Before his career in music, Perez worked on his studies, all the while listing to his favorite artists such as phora, hopsin, logic ect. Without realizing it they were influencing and inspiring the young student's mind. He writes about heartbreak, his own battles with his everyday life, and spreading positivity. He grew up with 2 brothers and 1 sister, both parents dedicated to their children. At the age of 2, he was diagnosed with duchennes but later to find out they diagnosed him wrong. The doctors did another at 10, surgery to find out that he has Emery Dreifuss muscular dystrophy. He has another surgery for his back at 15, because he had scoliosis. They corrected it, but then he started losing weight. This was another unknown. They didn't know why till one day he went to the doctor at 16, to find out he has gastroparesis.
