Darien Orlando Daley (born July 5, 1994) is a Jamaican rapper and entrepreneur. He released his first song in 2019 called 'Pulling Up Aye' when he migrated to Atlanta, which got him noticed in the rap scene. The song was aired on radio stations and featured on several playlists and media outlets. His song 'Dark Inside' was featured on Dcyoungfly's mixtape called Young Flys coming up vol 2.[1] With the incorporation of his Jamaican dialect in his later release 'We Outside'[2] he landed his first stage appearance in 2020 at Josephine Lounge in Atlanta, GA where he got appreciable feedback from A&Rs, DJs and local citizens. After his latest release 'Get me a bag'[3] he got the attention of industry executives and he was later discovered by AWAL and signed his first music distribution deal to distribute his music worldwide.[4]
Delly Xotic founded an auto modification shop called ModsNTires which modifies automobiles and tunes engine control units. The 5000 square feet facility is a major hub for car enthusiasts to modify, store or repair automobiles. ModsNTires became one of the most popular auto repair shops in Macon, GA and continues to serve many families, dealerships and fleets.[citation needed]
Early life and education
Born in Spalding, Jamaica, he attended Spalding Primary School, then graduated and went to Manchester High School in Mandeville, Jamaica. He later pursued an associate degree in computer science and engineering at Knox Community College before migrating to the United States of America.
Career
Delly Xotic started his music and entrepreneurial career in 2019 when he decided to terminate all his jobs and started making music in pursuit of accomplishing a dream he had since a kid, when his mom returned from America with a gift, a 50 Cent Album disc called "Get rich or die trying"[5] and a Sony CD player that inspired him to accomplish his dreams of creating music and owning an Automotive Shop. In 2019 he released his first song "Pulling Up Aye"[6] an upbeat club song that led him to a fanbase discovery. He later signed to AWAL where he released new songs after acquiring his distribution deal. He later earned revenue from his music and entrepreneurial skills and decided to invest in his dream of becoming a business owner and founded ModsNTires.
