Demarchiller Family
The Demarchillier family originates from the French village of Biot, Alpes-Maritimes[1] recorded since around the 1900s. The family's main métier was in wealth management with focus on 19th Century Art and later on within motorsports racing (particularly Formula Junior).[2] Kenneth Demarchillier the last heir to the Demarchillier Family fortune carried out most business overseas; however, he started life within the army. Once his duty time had been served within the Royal Navy, he returned to the family business of Art distribution and had many famous transactions with certain members of the Royal household.
The family later divided due to unsettled differences on estates within the village. Two siblings, Fleur Demarchillier and Patrick Demarchillier, located in London shortly after due to unknown circumstances. However, the family still maintains many of the properties within the village under long legal ownership.
