DenFa is short for Denver Fascism. It is used to describe persons (usually government officials), laws, policies and acts which people perceive to be fascist. Some current examples include: compensation of non-expert witnesses in exchange for testimony,[1][not in citation given], oversight committees who refuse to properly respond to grievances[2], refusal to prosecute government officials who have been accused of wrongdoing regardless of evidence including medical examiner's findings[3][4], home-rule bureaucracy, threats of prosecution for people following through with complaints about judges[5], judicial misconduct[6], government cover ups[7][8][9], media organizations publishing false news[10].
