Denis Muller (b. 1948) is an academic, journalist and ethicist.
Biography[edit]
Denis Muller was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1948.[1] He studied at Rosmini College and worked at three newspapers before moving to Australia in 1969. Muller worked as a sub editor at the Sydney Morning Herald and The Times, London, and was associate editor at The Age between 1986 and 1993.[1]
Muller completed his doctoral thesis at the University of Melbourne in 2006, entitled Media Accountability in a Liberal Democracy.[2][3] He is currently a senior research fellow at the Centre for Advancing Journalism[4] and previously taught media ethics at RMIT University.[1]
