Denise Mountenay was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 17, 1957[4] to Ruth (Swiss) and Hans (German). She was raped at 13,[5] and had her first pregnancy at 16 and then decided to have an abortion. After having the abortion, she suffered several side effects, such as unresolved grief, an infection, a damaged cervix, and a badly scarred uterus. Ministry and Advocacy Activities[edit]

Denise Mountenay[7] teaches on fetal development, and cites recent health, sociological, and statistical research to demonstrate her view that abortion is damaging to women's mental, spiritual and reproductive health. It also affects, families and society. Her presentations include discussions on abortion related connections to cervical and Breast Cancers (such sources of information could be found at Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer and Breast Cancer Provention Institute), subsequent pre-term births, sterility, depression,[8] anxiety disorders, substance abuse,[9] suicides[10] and more.

Mrs. Mountenay has spoken at the United Nations[11][12][13] and as a keynotes speaker at events like the Tenth Anniversary Rally for Life,[14] on talk shows, in schools, churches, conferences, prisons, before parliamentary committees, has organized and carried out pro-life workshops, and has provided counselling and prayer support for countless woman and men impacted by the act of abortion.
