Dense Smoke Advisory

A Dense Smoke Advisory is an alert issued by the National Weather Service when smoke from a fire, volcano, or some other source will reduce visibility to less than 1 nautical mile or 1/4 of a statute mile, similar to a Dense Fog Advisory.[1] The colour on the National Weather Service map is Khaki.[2]
