Denver Cougars were an American soccer team, founded in 1998 as the Colorado Comets, who were members of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, until 2002, after which the team left the league and the franchise was terminated. They were renamed the Denver Cougars after the 2000 season.
The team played their home games at Wembley Park in the city of Commerce City, Colorado. The team's colors were white, black and gold.
