Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode is a band formed in Basildon in 1980. Their debut album was Speak & Spell in 1981. They were entered into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2020. They are currently a duo consisting of frontman & singer Dave Gahan, and Martin Gore, 2 founding members. The 2 other founding members are Andy Fletcher, who passed in 2022, and Vince Clarke, who left between their first and second album releases, and was subsequently replaced by Alan Wilder, who left in 1995.
