Deputechnologies, also known as Deputy, is an Australian information technology company that provides a cloud-based platform as a service workforce management and scheduling solutions.The company was founded in Sydney, in the year 2008. It also maintains offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles and London.
As of 2019, the company is serving 90,000 businesses on the Deputy platform.[3]

The company was founded in 2008 by Bangladesh-born Australian Ashik Ahmed and Steve Shelley.
In early 2017, Deputy raised $25 million Series A funding.[4] In November 2018, it further raised $81 million Series B funding.[5][6] The Series B funding was led by Institutional Venture Partners along with OpenView Venture Partners, Square Peg Capital, and Equity Venture Partners.[7]
Currently, it reportedly serves the "rostering" needs of Amazon, Google, HubSpot, McDonald’s, Nike, Inc. and Uber.[8]
