Deputy is an Australian SaaS company that offers a cloud-based employee-scheduling software platform. They are currently headquartered in Sydney and Atlanta, as well as having offices in the UK, and the Philippines. Deputy's products are based on the software as a service (SaaS) model and is sold by a subscription based on the type and number of company entities managed by the subscriber[1].

Deputy was founded in Australia in 2008 by Steve Shelley & Ashik Ahmed[2].
Funding[edit]
On January 18, 2017, Deputy announced that it had received $25m in Series A financing from Openview. The funding is the company's first from an institutional investor.[3]
Product[edit]
Deputy's features include schedule management, payroll management, time-clock, communication facilitation tools, as well as employee reporting[4]. Deputy also has payroll and point of sale integrations that include Xero[5], Gusto[6], ADP[7], Intuit Quickbooks[8], Square[9], Vend[10],and Lightspeed[11].
