Descendant (astrology)
The descendant forms the cusp of the seventh house of the horoscope and it is one of the angles. It refers to partners or relationships. In the natural chart, the descendant is ruled by the seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra, and its ruler planet, Venus. The sign on the descendant is always the sign opposite the rising sign or the ascendant.
