Desmond Scott Lowden is a British writer. He was born on September 27, 1937 in Winchester, England. Son of Patrick Alfred Thomas and Margaret Elizabeth Lucy Lowden. He studied at Marlborough College, England, between 1951 and 1955. He is married to Gillian Ann Best since 1964 and father of two.
