Destination Day

Destination Day was a public artwork commissioned by the City of Perth and installed at Forrest Place in Perth, Australia.[1] At the centre of Forrest Place a brass plaque was installed with the following inscription:

"IN THE EVENT THAT THE TRANSPORTATION OF LIFE FROM THE FUTURE TO THE PAST IS MADE POSSIBLE, THIS SITE HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED AS A LANDMARK FOR THE RETURN OF INHABITANTS OF THE FUTURE TO THE PRESENT DAY

The City of Perth archived video footage on the CCTV cameras overlooking Forrest Place for 24 hours during 31 March 2005.[2]
