Devaksh Rai is an Indian television and theatre actor. He was born on January 29, 1994, in Bareli, Madhya Pradesh. He pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He started his acting career in 2016 with the Trikarshi Natya Group theatre director K.G. Trivedi. His major plays are "The Phoenician Women", Biju Seth, Biwi Mayke Gai. He made his debut from the episodic TV series "Vighnaharta Ganesha" [1]
Early Life
Devaksh Rai was born on January 29, 1994, in Bareli, Madhya Pradesh. His father, Antram Rai, is an accountant, and his mother, Hari Rai, is a homemaker. He also has a brother, Satish Rai. He completed his High School and Higher Secondary education in Bareli, after which he moved to Bhopal and pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. During this time, he started his acting career with the Trikarishi Natya Sansthan Theater Group.
Career
Since childhood, he was very fond of watching films and used to imitate film scenes. When he was in the 8th standard, he got a chance to act in a play in the school annual function. The name of that play was *Hila Hila Kar Pila*, directed by Manoj Dhakad, and he decided he wanted to be an actor. After that, he moved to Bhopal and started his acting career with the Trikarishi Natya Sansthan Theater Group. His major plays are "The Phoenician Women", Biju Seth, Biwi Mayke Gai, *Andher Nagri*, *Kothri*, *The Barking Dog*, *Naukar Biwi Ka*. During this time, he acted in more than 20 short films, major short films including *Cyber Crime*, some of which won awards at film festivals, such as *Studs*, *Cyber Crime*, *Second Hand Shoe*, *Middle Class Dress*, *Missing Aarna*, and A bride. After that, he moved to Mumbai and made his debut from the episodic TV series "Vighnaharta Ganesha" and played important and major roles in episodic shows, Crime Alert, Savdhan India, *Crime Stop*, Jurm Aur Jazbaat.
