Devi Abhayam is a 2005 Telugu socio-fantasy film directed by Vijaya Sarathi.It has received positive response from both critics and audiences alike. It is available to watch on Jiocinema,[1] Sunnxt, [2] Erosnow [3]and on Airtelxstream. [4] The film has been dubbed into Hindi with the title "Ek Naagin Vardhan" which has 6.4 million views on YouTube.[5]
Plot[edit]
A sorcerer (Narra Venkateshwara Rao) is after a mystical diamond that supposedly possesses magical powers. He wants to acquire the diamond to rule the world. Nagini (Prema) and her husband (Prabhakar) are Nagadevathas in human form. Nagini's husband has the diamond that the sorcerer is looking for. Vishwantham (Ranganath) is village head who is a devotee of Nagadevatha. He has a daughter named Laxmi(Raasi) who is a great worshipper of Nagini. She is forcefully married to Rahul(Sai Kiran) by her stepmother against her father's wishes, to usurp their property. Rahul, who is soft natured helps Laxmi and her father despite not being in their favor. In the meanwhile, the sorcerer gets hold of them and devises a plan to achieve his evil goals. Laxmi and Nagini's lives gets intertwined as they try to save their respective husbands. How Laxmi rescues her husband and the rest of the world from the clutches of the villainous sorcerer forms the remaining story.

The movie was received well by both critics and audiences alike. Particular praise was given to the performance of lead actress Raasi and computer graphics, which were lauded to be advanced for the age.
