Located at 41°55'22.36"N, 79°12'6.76"E, the peak makes up part of the Ushat massif, a high, but contained mountain range near the border of China. The area is seldom visited by anyone other than local hunters, having seen western exploration only from Gottfried Merzbacher in 1902 and a team of Australian climbers in 2018.
