After reaching out to a reputable hockey agent he was put in touch with the Fayetteville marksmen(SPHL) but they ended up going in a different direction. The 22/23 season Devyn had multiple offers to play in France and England but no deal was done in time to start the season so he was suggested to start the season in Canada so he signed with the Plattsville Lakers who newly joined the WOSHL.
