Dexecure is a Singapore-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, founded in 2016.[1] It is backed by Cocoon Capital and Walden International.[2] Dexecure was the first startup in Singapore to participate in the Y Combinator Fellowship Program in 2016. The company was selected as one of the six Echelon Asia Top 100 Fight Club qualifiers in 2017.[3][4]
The company helps to speed up websites and their performance automatically using algorithms developed by Dexecure.[5] The product automatically optimizes images, JavaScript, CSS, Fonts, and third-party assets. Some of its clients include CodeCombat, Amazon, Joy, and The Indian Economist (now Qrius).[1]
History
Dexecure was founded in 2016 by Inian Parameshwaran[6][7] (a NUS School of Computing alumnus).[8][9] The company raised funding of US$762K (S$1m) from Cocoon Capital and Walden International in April 2018.[5]
Recognition
- Selected as one of the six Echelon Asia's Top 100 Fight Club qualifiers in 2017.[3]
- Selected for the Y Combinator Fellowship Program in 2016 and was awarded a grant of US$20,000.[10]
