Dheekshith Shetty

Dheekshith S Shetty is an Indian Actor, who is working in Kannada television industry. He was born on 22nd December 1996 at Kundapur, Karnataka. He is currently living in Bangalore. He is the only son of Srimathi Shashikala Shetty.

Early Life and Education

He did his preschool, primary and high school at Maria Sadan Public School, Bangalore (2000-2011). He was interested in art, especially in acting and dancing. He was participating in dramas and cultural events during his school days. Later he joined MES college of Arts, Commerce and Science, Bangalore (2011-2013) where he completed his pre-university education. After his pre-university, he joined University Law College (ULC), Bangalore (2013-2019) where he completed his BA LLB successfully and graduated from the Bangalore University between the work pressure. During his graduate studies, he was busy in the serial and reality shows. In between these busy schedules, he managed to be a law graduate. His college management helped him to achieve this.

During his college days, Dheekshith and his family faced several difficulties and financial issues. Hence, it was necessary for him to provide a helping hand to his family. Even though he dreamt of being a cricketer, he decided to enter the entertainment industry for the sake of his family.

Turning Point aAp

Dheekshith Shetty was interested in theatre from his childhood. Hence, he decided to continue in that field in order to provide financial support for his family. The actual turning point of his life is the moment he decides to join the acting and performing Institute called An Actor Prepares (aAp) institute. The popular actress who is training young talents in aAp institute Usha Bhandary helps Dheekshith a lot. Dheekshith tells that Usha Bhandary took the fees only once that too during his admission to the institute. Later, after knowing his financial condition, she didn’t make him pay the fees. The institution trained him to be a well-versed actor.

At present, he is training his juniors at aAp acting and performing institute and helping them achieve their goals. He is conducting several acting workshops at Mangalore in association with aAp acting and performing Institute. Even though Dheekshith has become a popular actor, he respects Usha Bhandary as his mother. In case of Dheekshith, the aAp acting and performing Institute and Usha Bhandary turned Stone to Sculpture.

Interests and Hobbies

Dheekshith Shetty was interested in cricket from his childhood. He dreamt of being a cricketer like his role model and favourite cricketer master blaster Mr Sachin Tendulker. So he was interested in cricket but now he wants to continue with the entertainment sector and wants to develop himself as a good artist taking Dr Rajkumar as his role model. He also loves to dance in his spare time and has a great passion for dance. He conquered the first prize in the famous dance reality show ‘Dance Karnataka Dance’ season 2 which was organized by Zee Kannada. Even after winning the prize, he is constantly getting trained in various dance forms.

Apart from these, Dheekshith is a fitness freak. He spends hours together at the gym and grinding himself to be fit and healthy. This hard worker had secured 3rd place in the CrossFit competition organized by Push-Up Bangalore (PUB). He completely groomed himself within 3 months by working hard at the gym and a decent diet. This physique later helped him to justify the challenging role of Nagayodha in the serial Naagini. Thanks to his couch Sujanith Shetty.

He is a good gymnast and practices gymnastics on his weekends. He believes all these dances, physical fitness and gymnastics are the basics to be a successful actor. [1]

Dheekshith is a solo rider. He loves to go on a long ride in a bike which gives him a break from the daily stressful life. The bike riding gives him new experiences and motivation to start his shoot with a bang and give 100% to it.

Career

Dixith S Shetty got into the entertainment sector at his young age, during his college days due to financial issues. Initially, he got a chance to play a supporting role which didn’t bring him so much popularity. Later, he got through several auditions and got selected for the male as ‘Arjun’, the character revolving around Naagini, a reincarnation of a snake woman who has come to seek revenge in a Kannada serial called Naagini. His hard work and passion towards acting bought him a huge popularity and celebrity status.

Between he got a lead role in a short movie called Nava Belaku which was produced by Mr Bhadra Manju. The short movie got a good response in Mangalore and got nominated for several awards.

He gave a guest appearance in a Kannada movie called ‘Sagutha doora doora‘ which was directed by Mr Raviteja. The movie trailer was launched by Rocking Star Yash. The song in which he performed got a good response in social media as well as in YouTube.

He is presently busy Kannada movie called Dia which has received a good response in the social media just for the poster. The movie is said to be romantic and love based movie. It is the movie from the makers of 6-5=2 and Karva. It will be directed by Mr Krishna Chaitanya.
