Personal life and education[edit]
Dhiraj Kumar born in Patna, Bihar on October 26th, 1975. He completed his education from Patna before moving to Mumbai.[2]
Career[edit]
Dhiraj Kumar started his career with Bhojpuri cinema and later moved to Bollywood. In 2011, Dhiraj directed his first Bhojpuri film 'Elaan' (2011), starring Ashiqui fame actor Rahul Roy, Manoj Tiwari and Lovy Rohatgi. His second Bhojpuri film was titled 'Sabse Bada Mujrim' starring Rahul Roy and Kajal Raghwani. The film marked the acting debut of popular RJD leader from Bihar, Babban Yadav. Dhiraj Kumar made his first Hindi feature film under the banner of his own production house Insite India titled 'Kaashi in Search of Ganga',[1] starring Sharman Joshi, Aishwarya Devan, Govind Namdev, Manoj Pahwa, Manoj Joshi and Akhilendra Mishra. The film released on October 26th, 2018. Dhiraj Kumar is currently working on his next project Suswagatam Khushamadeed. The film will star Pulkit Samrat in the lead role. It will be extensively shot in Delhi and Lucknow.
