Diamond Valley Roller Derby Club (DVRDC or Diamond Valley) is a mixed gender flat track roller derby club based in Eltham, Melbourne, in the Australian state of Victoria. Founded in 2011, DVRDC has one traveling team, the Rough Cut Rollers.

History[edit]

Diamond Valley Roller Derby Club was founded in 2011 by a small group of skaters in based in Eltham, Victoria [1]. The club has one travelling team, The Rough Cut Rollers. The club trains at two venues, Skaterz Roller Rink [2] and Eltham Leisure Centre, both located in Eltham.

In 2016 the Rough Cut Rollers competed in the Great Southern Slam (TGSS) which is the largest competitive roller derby event in the Southern Hemisphere.[3] It is held bi-annually in Adelaide in South Australia and contested by teams from New Zealand and Australia.[3] Diamond Valley's Rough Cut Rollers made it to the Grand Final in division 2 and won against Devil State. The final score was Devil State: 66, DVRDC: 234.

In 2017 the team merged with the Northside Rollers to compete in the Statewide Stampede tournament in Victoria under the name The Rough Cut Rogues. In 2018 the team merged with the Colac based club.[4], the Otway Derby Dollz, to form the Diamond Growlers.
