Diana Renee Alouise is an American comedian, author, celebrity hairstylist, actress, and producer. She is most known for stand-up comedy, at locations such as the Hollywood Improv.[1]

Career[edit]

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Alouise dropped out of school at 17. By the age of 19, with no formal training, she launched a career as a hair and makeup artist in Beverly Hills.[2] A co-owner of the Bumble and Bumble salon offered her an apprenticeship that involved on-the-job training, and an eventual cosmetology license in the State of California.[3]

In 1984 she moved to Umberto, the salon opened by Umberto Savone on Cañon Drive in Beverly Hills. She currently owns Shampoo, a salon in Truckee, California, and continues to style celebrity clients in the Los Angeles area.[4]

Alouise has also produced comedy shows[5] and currently produces annual stand-up comedy fundraisers for organizations such at the Humane Society.[6]

Alouise is Executive Producer of One Minute Comic: The Rob Sampson Story, to be distributed by Comedy Dynamics.
