Diana Speed is a BBC Radio 4 newsreader and continuity announcer.[1] She was born in Cornwall, and educated at boarding school in Kent and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.[1] She joined Radio 4 in 1999. She regularly reads news on programmes such as Today, and frequently does readings of cuttings on The News Quiz.
