The Dictyopterini is a tribe of net-winged beetles in the Lycidae family, recognized for their soft bodies and brightly colored, reticulated wing covers. This tribe includes 7 genera. In the Afrotropical region, all Dictyopterini species belong to the subtribe Flagraxina, which includes genera like Flagrax and Phaneros. These beetles have been the subject of detailed phylogenetic studies, especially regarding their classification and evolutionary relationships.[1]
