Background[edit]

Digital Marketing Skill Institute was founded in 2016 by its founder and current CEO, Oluwatobi Asehinde.[1]

After starting up Vibe Web Solutions Limited in 2012[2] during his master's degree study at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom as a digital marketing agency, providing website development and lead generation services, he restructured and rebranded the firm to a different niche which was digital marketing training and certification, signaling the birth of Digital Marketing Skill Institute.

Presently, Digital Marketing Skill Institute has trained over 2,000 students from cities all over Nigeria,[3] West and sub-Saharan Africa and provides an Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing Certification after successful completion of its classes and project requirements.

Education[edit]

Digital Marketing Skill Institute provides digital and onlilne marketing training courses in major online marketing channels like email marketing, social media marketing, online advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, and many others.

The Institute currently offers both physical and online classes, with training centres located in Lagos, Nigeria. Students can also choose to attend either a weekday or weekend physical class.

Perhaps, a noticeable challenge for students is the inability to locate the institute from as many locations, although, the Institute plans to open a new branch in Abuja, Nigeria in 2019.

Location[edit]

Digital Marketing Skill Institute's head office is currently located at 72B Surulere Way, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos Island, Lagos State, Nigeria. The company plans to open a new training branch in Abuja, Nigeria in 2019.
