Established in 1998, Diliman College or DC, formerly known as Diliman Computer Technology Institute (DCTI), is a private, non-sectarian tertiary educational institution situated along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City together with the Diliman Preparatory School.

History[edit]

DCTI institute initially offered computer and livelihood courses. It served as the training arm of Diliman Foundation, Inc. through the Manpower Skills Training Program in partnership with the Technical Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). It offered a variety of Information and Technology and Restaurant Specific Skills Development Programs.

DCTI continually sought and developed programs to meet the students' needs and the requirements of industry. In early 2000, the institute saw the growing medical transcription industry , and launched the Medical Transcription course in 2004.

In 2008, the institution began to offer four-year courses in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration. The Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education programs together with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration were added in 2010, making DCTI an institution of choice.

It has initiated the Computer Literacy Program in partnership with Uni tech Education Program Corporation in 2009.

On September 2013, the Bureau of Immigration granted the authority to DCTI to accept foreign students.

And on September 8, 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the amended articles of incorporation thereby completing its transformation to become Diliman College.

In  2015, DepEd granted permit to DC to offer Senior High School programs.

Recently, CHED has granted initial permit  to DC to offer Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Public Administration and Bachelor of Physical Education to cater to the needs of the K-12 graduates come 2018-2019.
