Dina Gadia
Dina Gadia (born 28 October 1986) is a visual artist from the Philippines, born in Anda, Pangasinan province. She currently works and lives in Manila. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Far Eastern University, Manila in 2006.[1] Her mixed-media artworks are the creative outcome of cutting, pasting, and re-appropriating both old and new images, using vintage materials.
Early Life
Gadia was raised by her aunt's family since she was two years old. She attended Lucap Elementary School and Colegio San Jose de Alaminos in Pangasinan.[1] She then went on to study advertising at the Far Eastern University, Manila.
Career
After graduating in 2006, Gadia entered the Filipino art scene by participating in several group exhibitions and has exhibited her work extensively, both locally and internationally. As of 2018, she is represented by Owen James Gallery in New York and Silverlens in Manila.
