Dinesh Chandra Majumdar (19 May 1906 - 9 June 1934) was one of the leading figures in the anti-British independence movement in the Indian subcontinent and a martyred revolutionary of the Fire Age. Jugantar joined the revolutionary party through neighboring revolutionary Anujacharan Sen. During the revolutionary coup led by Bagha Jatin during the First World War , Shaileshwar Bose, the director of the secret base at Baleshwar , used to stay up at night with his followers when he contracted tuberculosis . Then, under the direction of the party leader, he started working for the revolutionary organization in Bogra and South 24 Parganas. As a teacher of sticks , he helped establish the "Chhatri Sangha".Dinesh Chandra Majumdar was born on 19th May 1907 in Basirhat of North 24 Parganas. His father's name was Purnachandra Majumdar. B.A. in 1928. Passed and started studying law. I.A. He used to practice yoga while studying and later learned to play stick and dagger in the Simla Exercise Society.
