Dinesh Nair is a former Indian football player and currently the founder-director of the Association of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC).[1] [2] an establishment that works towards the development and welfare of coaches in India.
He is also the Head of Grassroots & Youth development for Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.
Mumbai City FC
Nair has been leading grassroots development at Mumbai City FC since the inception of the Indian Super League in 2014. Responsibility for setting up youth teams and youth development was later added to his portfolio.

AIFC
In 2017, Dinesh Nair, along with four prominent personalities of Indian football (I.M Vijayan, Derrick Pereira, Sanjoy Sen and Thangboi Singto), formed the Association of Indian Football Coaches with the objective of raising coaching standards and developing a better football ecosystem in India. The AIFC is a recognized body by the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
AIFF
In 2019, the All India Football Federation appointed Dinesh as the head consultant to create a roadmap for promoting futsal and beach soccer in India.[3]
