Carlease Elizabeth Simms, also known as Carlease Edwards,[1] is a woman who has been missing since January 1, 1981.[2]
Disappearance
The last time that anyone has seen or heard from Simms was at her home on New Year's Day 1981 in East Orange, Essex County, New Jersey.[3] On the day of her disappearance, someone knocked on Simms' apartment door. Simms then got into an argument with the person and then left with them. Simms has not been seen or heard from since.[4]
Investigation and aftermath
Although Simms' car was later found, very little information about her disappearance exists.[5]
