Jessica Christine Seybold (born May 5, 1978) is an American woman from Seattle, Washington, who went missing in nearby Arlington, Washington, on December 12, 2017. Seybold has not been seen since.[1]

Disappearance[edit]

Seybold was last seen in the Trafton area of Arlington, Washington on December 12, 2017. On the day of her disappearance, she was texting people she knew her location, saying she was with a man and that she was scared she was being set up. She has not been heard from since.[2]

After Seybold was reported missing, her ex-boyfriend went to the address Seybold had texted and noticed her car was there. The women living in the house claimed to have had "written permission" from Seybold to have the car. However, no such evidence has ever been uncovered.

Seybold had been dealing with addiction issues during the time of her disappearance. Although some reports stated she was homeless, she was actually living with her mother at the time of her disappearance. She was planning to go into treatment for her addiction issues before her disappearance.[2]

Aftermath[edit]

Anonymous tips from the local drug community have claimed that Seybold was sexually assaulted and killed after her disappearance. However, this story has not been confirmed.[2]

As of 2023, Seybold's case remains unsolved.
